  • How close was the slip cordon at the start of the video! Especially 1st and 2nd!

  • @saustfootball Nothing like the smell of armpits close by to make you catch better.

  • @robelinda2 Do you even have Vengsarkar's 100 from the same Innings?

  • @sganeshkumar1989 Yes but its a bit long, i'll try.

  • Man Kapil Dev...voltairec took the words right out of my mouth..one of the most natural cricketers ever man period..supremely gifted batsman..best batsman among the 4 allrounders..he has 3 or 4 centuries against best attack of WI, a blistering century against SA ..if you guys don't know he had the fastest 50 in odi's of 30 balls and this was against WI in berbice..I would go to the extent of saying the best allrounder from 1978 to 87..class man and that is Kapil Dev..Txs Rob more young Kapil pls

  • @ramakril Check back in 20 mins for more Kapil gold, uploading now!!!!!

  • 6 slips+wicketkeeper+fine leg+bowler = 9..they only have two fielders infront of the bat. golden days of test cricket.

  • What a legend this man was. Only second to Imran Khan in the all time allrounders in my opinion. He was the best batsman out of the 4 in his era. His bowling is hard to judge condering he dint have a good bowling attack for support like Imran, didnt bowl in good bowling conditions for more than half his career like Botham and Hadlee. But one thing is for certain... He is the greatest cricketer India has ever produced

  • This was a test match I remeber a bit. It was Botham vs Kapil. I think England made 600/5 in the first Innings Bothan scored a 200+ and Kapil took all the 5 wkts. In Indias first Innings Gavaskar and kapil made some runs 40+ each. What we watched was the Indias' follow on innings. What we didnt watch was, England chasing some 50 odd runs were reduced to 20 odd for 3...and guess who took all the wickets? Kapil Dev ofcourse! They won by 7 wickets.

  • on his day he could murder any bowling. Kapil was the most talented and dangerous batsman among the four all-rounders - Hedley, Botham, & Imran.

  • Even batsmen THESE days with their ENORMOUS bats would think 89 runs in 49 balls is a great achievement today! Imagine how people felt about it back in 1982! Kapil Dev had a CRAPPY helmet, and a THIN bat compared to what people use today. AND it was a test match! WHAT MORE do we need to know before claiming rightly that Kapil was the BEST batsman India has ever produced!

  • I realise that Kapil Dev owns him in this video, but I love watching Phil Edmonds' bowling action. So smooth.

  • @ramakril ...I am delighted to find someone who's as passionate as me about Hurricane! I was really saddened that in 4 best allrounders debate Kapil seems to come last....what a travesty! He was glorious a batsmen, belting best attacks, and a real strike bowler until 83. He didn't score easy runs unlike Botham nor leveraged charm like Imran....83 in Windies before worldcup....he scored that 72 in Berbice(precursor to WC win) and scored a heroically adventurous 100 in port of spain contd

  • @ramakril: The Berbice 50 came of 22 balls. He scored 72 in all off 38 balls!
