Here's the latest installment of a series of interviews I've been doing on the topic of innovation. This time I talk to Stephen Elop, President of Nokia Corporation. Stephen and I go back a long time, first working together at Macromedia, where he became CEO. And, then later when Macromedia became part of Adobe. Prior to taking over the reins at Nokia, he was at Microsoft as president of their Business Division.

@sadfhsdfhsfgh MeeGo was regarded as a gold competitor for Microsoft's Windows. There were no hopes for Nokia to ever receive money from Microsoft or any partnership if the open source Meego was staying at the table. And as the latest financial result tell it ...Nokia needed Microsoft's money more than ever.

They should fire this guy. Windows phone will fail and Nokia go down for good. He dropped the most promising thing they had, which was MeeGo.

i swear to god if i ever hear stephen give the television-program-disruption example i am going to break my CRT tv on his head. he says it in every single speeches and interviews . STOP IT NAO

I love listening to @selop. Everytime he speaks I feel more confident about the decisions nokia have made.

This guy is smart I am inspired by the stuff he said. Trust him on his recent decisions, if he fails then you are free to judge him
