He is quicly approached by a merchant about selling the cowr. The cow merchant asks Clem if he's heard the story of Jack n the Beanstalk and Clem retells they story - "or the ghost that laid the goosened egg," - then claims to have never heard the story. This is the sketch with the famous "outtake" (later seen in a 1963 "CBS blooper reel") where the cow did some "ad-libbing" on its own...right on stage...with Red adding some "pungent" observations as well.
