I used a cigar box for a collage and instead of covering it with Plexiglas I decided to apply epoxy resin to seal it and add embedd 3d objects. www.rosamurillo.com

  • Really cool! have you ever used epoxy for anything thicker? I'm trying to make a 3/4 inch thick resin countertop so i can embed bamboo in it :)

  • the brand I used is a two part epoxy called Famowood Glaze Coat.

    I think you will have great results on canvas, I suggest just letting it drip on the sides and place the canvas over parchment paper to protect your table from the resin.

  • I agree. Do you know what the product name for the resin is that she's using? I have some gallery wrap canvases I'd like to use this on but I'm wondering how difficult it would be to cover both the surface and edges of the canvas.
