There's no proof of evolution either. You can't prove it unless you have seen it yourself or can replicate the process effectively. Until then it remains a theory subject to a belief that this is what happened, like big bang. It relies on a faith of a process, or some circumstance that humans were not capable of witnessing- a faith. Everything you criticize the church of being ignorant of is reputed in the bible. The church may have gotten it wrong but the bible mentions nothing of a flat earth.

@serenadesilhout There is absolutely NO evidence for the existence of God. What are you talking about? You need to look up the definition of faith, it's "belief without evidence." If you think the "evidence" (none) for creationism is as good as evolution, you are indeed brainwashed. Severely brainwashed.

One is not brainwashed by being affiliated with a certain religion - we have lots of smart people too. Also there are two fallacies to the evolution debate. 1) its contigent on a belief that an all-powerful God is not capable of being responsible for evolution; and 2) the evidence used for evolution is somehow better than those used by christians- they are both either circumstantial or observational in nature. There is no definitive proof of evolution either (and don't bring the monkey in this).

He doesn't believe in evolution, but he believes that the free market will solve all of society's ills.

Figure that shit out.

NO KIDDING. Doctors are scientists in their own right. He is either a very ill-informed doctor, or he is lying about his beliefs. Either way, I'm completely disappointed. I liked him for a minute there.

wow I thought Ron Paul was smart until I watched this video. Was this guy actually a physician? How did he make it through medical school not accepting basic scientific tenets? If you deny evolution, you are brainwashed by religion. It's plain and simple. This video is very disappointing.

Ron Paul is right about foreign policy but his domestic issues are horrible.

Well, he is right saying what he did. Faith and religion should not be a political topic. Seperation of church and state. Also, I think it's great that he has views (of what seems to be) as a Christian. That's what America's about. Freedom of Religion, Freedom of Thought. And he seems to be a very good Christian. Also, at the end, he expressed he didn't believe either side had all of the truth. It shows that he's open minded, fluid, and accepting.

A very good answer from Ron Paul
