How about a prodecure for things like this. It's kinda shocking all the reports of staff not having a clue etc. I know it's a one off but things like charging for water seems ridiculous. Maybe it should have be known beforehand the trains couldnt take it. Hopefully you have learn for the future.

Thanks for the taking the time of updating us,
I have 1 question though, obviously the unfortunate passengers of the 5 "broken" trains will be compensate, but what about all of us (probably tenth of thousands by tomorrow on both sides of the channel!), as you obviuosly wont be able to get everybody on the other side, will you refund our original ticket+the price of an alternative way of getting home? (plane ticket, ferry?)
