Learn all about the intricate process of negotiating with demons, and later, summoning Personas, which are key to succeeding in the world of Persona 2: Innocent Sin.

The only Persona game to have not reached North America the first time around now arrives with video and audio enhancements, a sleek new interface, new sidequests in the Climax Theater, and the player's choice of the fully remixed or original soundtrack.

Synopsis:
The story takes place in Sumaru City, Japan, population 1,280,000. Its protagonist attends Seven Sisters High School ("Sevens" for short), whose emblem is considered a status symbol even amongst students from other schools. Soon, though, a rumor that Sevens' emblem was actually cursed, and that wearing it would disfigure one's face, had spread around the city.

Even worse, the rumor came true...

And it was only the beginning of a string of rumors becoming reality, one after another...
Before long, the protagonists discover the power to summon another side of them called "Personas," which they use to investigate the strange incidents around the city, all while facing their own personal demons as well. Time is once again on the march...

Available September 20, 2011 for PlayStation Portable.

  • @RebornAleph Don't be an Atlus Hipster. Persona 2: Innocent Sin is one of my absolute favorite games/things of all time. It affected me immensely. Despite that...it *still* didn't affect me the way any post-V and pre-X Final Fantasy did. But, yeah- you'd be right about any *post*-X Final Fantasy game being "dumb".

  • @RebornAleph No, I'm saying that Atlus games *aren't* edgy anymore. Superficial edginess is all they've got. The time in which they *were* edgy(chiefly in the 90s) was a time when even the big games weren't really restricted artistically or otherwise. There was no significant contrast in artistic boldness(or company ethics) between "mainstream" games and "cult" games. Nowadays we're sort of in a parallel situation, except everything relatively sucks and *everyone* is, at least, a little afraid.

  • @EJZandHB Aw! It thinks it knows the first thing about neurology and/or psychology!

  • @RebornAleph I'll tell what's not cute: Your continually neurotic and delusional comments.

  • @EJZandHB Oh wow! Calm down man. Don't get so mad. We're all just one, big, happy family over here. No need to "defend your honor on the battlefield!"

After such a big, blown up exposure of someone who apparently even has a lower IQ than you do completely owning you in public, it is only natural that you answer with such hilarious animosity. But, children will be children, and I'll take it with a grain of salt.

It pretty much says: "I hate anyone who disagrees with me!". And it's cute as fuck.

  • @RebornAleph Oh, wait. Both of the comments are two weeks old (like your "maturity level" LOL). Well...I guess I was the one whose response was delayed due to having a life. Go figure!

  • @RebornAleph Which translates to: "I'm a delusional, desperate cocksucker. I'm worried I'm one of the 'kids' and 'stupid, unsuccessful people' I criticize so much, and I've tentatively tricked myself into believing I'm above the fabricated dividing line I've put between them and myself. Therefore, comments like yours are a threat to me, and I can't let them go even two weeks after the fact." ...But the two week delay is actually due to you being a big grown-up, right lol??

  • @EJZandHB That translates to: "I got owned, so I better shut up and plead mental issues."

    Kids.
