The Story Begins

Have you ever wondered why there is nothing to watch on TV during the summer? Year in year out televiewers are bored stiff watching repetitions of the winter schedule. Well, this summer we are giving the audience something to watch... where love meets hatred, money and jealousy break relationships and greed wins over modesty - 'La Farfalla' our young refreshing new T.V. series is definitely going to capture the hearts of everyone and is going to be the most watched programme this summer.

A summer Drama that revolves around two sisters, Amy and Melany where circumstances bring them closer together physically but fate separates them emotionally.

The Tagliaferro family is a well-to-do, apparently happy, normal family, with a doting mother and wife, Marianne, who loves her two daughters and husband dearly. Louis, the head of the family is a hard-working modern-day businessman. Melany, the older sibling, is an ambitious, all mature and a very composed career-driven 28 -year-old, her only fault and unhappy distraction is Sean, her very handsome young boss. Melany has been carrying a torch for Sean for three years, since he took her on for the job as his assistant in one of Malta's leading wineries. But is her love requited? The devotion Melany puts in her job also reflects her dedication to Sean. Whilst Amy, the younger sister, seeks the attention of everyone at any time - a very demanding girl who together with her best friend Daniela, ventures into the fashion business and plans and strives to go very far. She is a carefree young girl who loves life and adventure but her free spirit lands her into some tight spots.

Starring John Montanaro as Sean, Louise Ellul as Melany, introducing new talent Rudy as Luca, and x as Amy - La Farfalla will be aired this summer from June to September. And what better day to air this TV series than Monday prime time, the day after a hectic weekend and everyone is happy to stay in and watch something good on telly!
