Dr. Bob Graboyes, NFIB's senior healthcare advisor, was in Nashville recently to explain some of the consequences of the federal healthcare reform act. One those consequences is that employers must now send 1099s to corporate vendors as well as contractors. Dr. Graboyes says the provision will discourage firms from working with small businesses simply to avoid the additional paperwork involved.
