  • Do you use live chickens when trapping the fossas? It says that in the teen briefing on the Earthwatch website... I am thinking of going on the teen expedition

  • did you say 2-inch cockroaches? O.O ..ack! are you serious? xD that must've been awkward..

  • @sophiepride

hey, are you going for sure?

    i'm going this summer too..haha. x]

  • there's was alot of walking involved up to 20km a day, but its not as intense as it sounds. I personally did not use bug spray because it was bad for the wildlife i came in contact with, so if you choose to do so too, make sure you bring itch relief. Also, convince some of the staff or head researcher to take you out on a night hike, its easier to pick out chameleons at the time, and you see a lot of mouse lemurs and maybe even a leaf tailed gecko!

  • Hey, I'm going on this trip in July 2010 I think, or at least I am planning to. Anything I need to know? It looks really cool and you spend a lot of time with the community as well which I found surprising.... I'm looking forward to it though.

  • I like Madagascar !
