Jimbo Fisher on "Football Saturdays in the South"

Havoline's "Football Saturdays in the South" showcases the new head coach of Florida State University, Jimbo Fisher.

Tim Brando Hosts. In his closing remarks for the show (not captured here) he says not to be surprised if FSU wins 10 games this year, Christian Ponder may be the first QB taken in the draft, and LSU fans have asked "what happened to their QBs". His response: "They stopped getting coached by Jimbo Fisher".

@TheBrotherofcats It wasn't weakness dude, it was injuries. In 3 of our 4 losses last year we were missing over half of our starting offense. You do the same thing to Alabama and they arent the 2012 BCS Champs. No team could overcome what we sustained this year. Jimbo is a great coach and he WILL prove ya wrong.

@nole4life2671 Oh, and by the way, I love Ballet, and Soccer, and Tae Kwon Do, and shooting, and boxing. and Theater. I guess I'm just a little bit more well rounded than you are. I am an FSU fan, but am not blinded by love of the team enough to not see there weaknesses. And Jimbo is a weak link in that team. I really hope he proves me wrong. but I don't think he will.

@nole4life2671 I had to laugh when I read your reply. Your opening sentence showed me what kind of intellectual giant you are. I would put my academic and intellectual credentials against yours any day of the millennium. I am also pretty sure I know as much or more about football than you do. I actually watch the games, do you? It wasn't just the injuries to the O-line and playing freshmen that turned them into a substandard unit. Oh, and Can't has an appostrophy in it.

@TheBrotherofcats You're an idiot. The guy went 10-4 his first year and was completely riddled with injuries last year to the point of having to start all Freshman on the OLine. Anybody with ANY knowledge of football knows sustaining that level of injuries is insurmountable. Maybe football isnt your sport, maybe you should take up ballet. Anybody who cant see Jimbo is a great coach, has no clue abt the game of football.

And it was an elite program until it was run into the ground the last decade. Now Jimbo has the chance to run it even further into the ground and totally destroy. Good work Jimbo.

As shown this year, Jimbo is only capable of coaching high school and below. We made a real mistake getting this guy as head coach. The sooner he leaves Tallahassee the better.
