No MTA service decreases, Governor should withdraw 143 million dollar Mta cuts

Governor Patterson should withdraw 143 million dollars in cuts to the Mta. New York State came up with 200 Million dollars short in projection for 2009. Mta will have 343 million dollar shortfall at the end of 2010. Raises of 1 percent for each of the next 3 years. 13 percent raises should be thrown out. No way can they be afforded. Should be service increases. Overnight Subway service should be 15 minutes apart. Overnight bus service 30 minutes apart on routes currently 1 hour apart. 4 added bus routes. 2 in manhatten. 2 in brooklyn. 1 in Manhatten on Grand Street. FDR drive to 6th avenue down Grand street, Chrysty to Bloom. Bloom to 6th avenue, 6th avenue to Columbus circle. In other direction down 5th avenue to 8th street, 8th street to Broadway, Grand Street to Fdr drive. 2nd route in Manhatten. 1st ave in 29th street, 29th street till 11th avenue, 28th street in other direction. In Brooklyn 1st route would start at Lutheren medical center. Run till 44th street down 2nd avenue. 44th till 18th avenue. 18th to Mcdonald. Mcdonald to Foster. Foster avenue to Newkirk subway station on the Q line. Other direction go down 47th till 18th, 45th till 1st avenue. 2nd route in Brooklyn 18th avenue station on N line. 18th till 54th. 54th till 2nd avenue, 2nd ave till Lutheren Midical center. Other direction down 54th. This will ultimately result in ridership increases. Economy should be better in 2013. 2013 no fare increase. Subsudys should be increased with further service increases. New buses should not be bought unless to increase fleet. Older buses should be rebuilt to run 6 more years. Buses can be rebuilt much cheaper at only 100,000 dollars each, opposed to 300,000 dollars, and up for new buses. Instead of fare increase in 2011. 2010 raise base fare to 2.50. Weekly unlimited use Metro card should be raised 6 dollars, Monthly unlimited ride Metro cards 3 dollars. No fare increase in 2013. Economy should be better by then. Subsudys should be increased, with money for further service increases. Stay tune I"m going to make another video on this subject, plus on how economy can be inproved, with President obama should do. There should be a 2nd stimulus as 300 million dollars in stimulus funds remain.

Keep a eye on my channel I"m going to be making lots more videos on this subject. The cuts the Mta wants to make are horrible, bare bones cuts of entire routes, cutting busy trips. Longer waits in between trains. It will be almost inpossible to get a seat. At 1:00AM trains are now crowded to where you cannot get a seat going towards, into Brooklyn. Mta wants to make it, they run 30 minutes apart, not 20. Halloween night 2:00 am trains crowded in all directions. Mta wants more crowded. Horrible!!

Mta wants to cut the W line. The N will be more crowded. Already standing room only going to, and from Queens. Eliminate Z train. J which is already over crowded, will become like crush Sardine cans. Mta wants to cut service, hurt its customers yet it has 3,000 office workers in 3 highrise office buildings. Not 3,000 bus drivers, conductors, motermen, token booth clerks. 3,000 pencil pushers!!!!!!!!!!!!!! making 60,000 a year or more. horrible!!!!!! waste, all these fat cats. Cut them!!!!!!!!!!!
