You're a mean one Mr. Youtube Copyright Restrictions.

Don't people alter the footage by flipping the image of the footage or adding minor sounds to music so that everyone watching still knows what's going on but the YouTube bots can't identify them?
There's also something called Fair Use which allows for the use of clips for educational and journalistic purposes (ie reviews) which would cover videos such as these. But since YouTube's bots can't determine when a clip falls under Fair Use it's just safer to ban everything from a legal standpoint

hate when this happens. I hope Youtube read some of these comments so they realize that they should stop this

Youtube, being a private corporation, is not bound by the first or any other amendment, nor by reason or conscience; they have every incentive to modulate their copyright policies randomly and enforce them arbitrarily. Just like the constant effing with the page layout and narrowing of users' options, it's meant to keep users intimidated and confused, and ultimately, to keep the peons (that's you and me) in their place.

So sorry! How annoying and inconvinient! Youtube is geting worse and worse on most matters

I understand, it is just Horrid that youtube can go back and say this is a problem now, why didn't you say something before??? Just lame.

your response has made my sarcasm even more tragic now. its a shame you guys have to worry about copyright stuff like this, i bet it gets in the way quite a bit with how you want to make certain videos like superhero rewind and such

I'm sorry Geekvolution, this just sounds really inconvenient.
If you do a bunch more field on blip, could you make YouTube trailers with a link like AVGN does?

You know I'm getting the same copyright message myself. Yesterday, I make a video on what I that about the Dark Knight Rises trailer and I add parts of the trailer in the video. Well, I got this flag or message about third copy content, which confuse me since I see other people of YouTube who are reviewing the trailer use scenes from the trailer as well and I'm sure they never got flag. So should I be worry & take down the video and just leave it & be sure not to use copyright contents again?

@SenorNerd I think you're okay as long as you don't care about putting up videos longer than 15 minutes.
