*Update*
Here's a picture of the straight pipe set up.

Only cost $27 to do. Dad bought straight pipe and clamps from a local muffler shop. Then we did the labor our selves at home. Sounds way better in person, video just does not do justice. Produces a great sound while going down the road. Supposedly adds 5-10hp.

  • Skip to 1:44 for revs.

  • what kind of clamps did u buy

  • @xSCHEUx Sorry about the late, late reply about what clamps were used on the Lincoln Continental straight pipes. I believe they were c-clamps. I added a picture of the set up to the video description.

  • @rurmundo No, that's an insult. Lincoln Continentals do not have shitty cadi engines. They have intech modular V8's man. Just a de-tuned cobra motor pretty much.

  • i hate how people think of these as grandma cars but they are nasty motors

  • @KandAshow Did you find a cold air intake system for yours? I cannot find one for mine....

  • Smart man,I tip my hat to you sir.

  • @FrankRizzo762 Oh no, it was $27 total, not for both. We just got the piping and clamps from a local shop and then did it ourselves at home.

  • @KandAshow geez 27$ for both, did your local muffler shop do it for you or you yourself did it?I'll check out your other vid, it seems like 98-02 continental vids are very scarce on yt,and cardomain has alot of good pictures but no vids.

  • @FrankRizzo762 Thanks. Final price was around $27 USD. The only other 'mods' I guess I can say I did was put 18'' rims and wider tires on it. Check out my recent video called: "2001 Lincoln Continental Photoshoot.mp4 " to see how they look on the car.
