Welcome back Cadets. My favorite show of the year. Louder,faster higher.
Love the demand.
Sorry for bashing them over the past few years but this years show just kicked!!!!!
Hope they keep in going in 2010.

I just love spotting random people in the Cadet's Hornline to follow during their closers because they're always so insane drill-wise. you should try it. especially with this closer and 08s closer.

do these corps do different shows for different competitions

@347826able No. The basic show is the same for the summer. They will make changes and improvements as the summer goes on, but it is the same show. These shows are over 11 min. long, and too complex to try to learn and perform a new show each competition, at such a high level. That would be 40 new shows a summer.

@347826able Having marched at the Cadets for 3 years and taught there for 1, I can honestly say no. You are constantly going to a new locations, daily practice and shows many nights a week. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to perfect a top 12 DCI show. But, in the end, the friends that you make and the experiences that you get from dedicating the summer to something like this will last a lifetime.

@347826able DCI Junior Drum Corps is limited to ages 13-22. But a top 6 drum corps, like the Cadets, usually has an average member age of 20.
