Short video demonstrating a basic mining style system for removing dirt up steep basement stairs. Truck is a 1962 Ford dually dumper, winch and hoist are from Harbor Freight (customized with the winch welded on the hoist and with extra angle braces welded at the base of the hoist post), the dirt box and cart are homemade. Each box load is around 600 pounds and it takes about 9 cartloads to fill the truck, which holds around 3.5 cubic yards. Big long term project but fun!

  • nice rig going to put one on my dumper too

  • I just bought that harbor freight crane today. I plan to add skidding tongs to it, mount it to a vice mount hitch plate for receiver on the back of my SUV, and use it to lift logs onto my wood splitter. What is the sku or model of the electric winch you purchased? I'm assuming you power the winch from your truck? How is that done? any way to plug into the outlet next to my hitch that is used for trailers?

  • it puts the lotion on it skin or it gets the hose again
