Long have I wanted to re-record one of my favorite slap bass riffs that I have created. This time with better tone and sound quality. So here is some more double thumbing slap bass grooving, now in HD.

You play fast triplets(?!) with your other three or four fingers... do you PICK them or do you like "PUSH" them... it seems like you OPEN the hand while playing them, so I think you play these notes doing something like the "opposite" of plucking???

In this riff I actually play triplets by using the picking technique (first triplet) and also by "pushing" as you call it with three fingers after each other. This is heard just before the double thumbing part. I might do a lesson on some of these techniques.
