  • @banaan3001 Which is why you strafe around, and back peddle when going through enemy lines, while jumping to look legit. Even skilled players have a tough time noticing the speed difference if you do all that.

And the demo disguise is only good once you've gotten through lines. A scout running back with full health is beliavble. A demo doing so is not. Not to mention that the demo disguise slows you down, and has a similar hitbox to the spy (model is also more pokey than scouts).

  • @FundaiX

But even a F2P knows that a slow scout not doublejumping is a spy, Demo is better for example. Logic to go to a dispenser because of the low ammo. almost no speed loss etc.

  • @rocky4life6 Disguising as your own team is most helpful when using Dead Ringer: You need to get behind enemy lines, but if you run at them head on looking their color, and die instantly on hit they'll know you're a spy using DR, and be on lookout. But if you look like your own team, they think nothing of it and you can get behind them without them being aware of the presence of a spy.

    :l

Scouts is one of the better disguises.

    1) There is no speed penalty (like the heavy disguise)

    2) Scouts Model is considerably smaller than a spies hitbox. This make a s sniper have to aim WAY above a model to get a headshot.

3)Scouts frequently run back to dispensers to heal. Its not unusual to see a scout running backwards from the line.

    4) a GOOD Spy that can play act as a scout well (reloading frequently running back and strafing all over the place) can get lots of backstabs

  • @rocky4life6 actually disguising as someone in your own team if used often in order to reduce paranoia and create a psychological impact on the enemy

"there isn't a spy on the other team"

  • @jhonnythe Nothing is wrong with that No one hardly notices
