The plan you claim would have been just as spectacular, if not more. It would actually have been a more impressive and scary plot. And why only those 2 buildings? how can anyone know how they would have reacted to what happened at the time and place it did. Noone on those first planes knew what was about to happen. The passengers and crew thought they just had to do as told, and would be flown who knows where, and most likely released. That was what was expected judging from past experience.

on flight 93, the passengers were told from cell phone calls what was happening, so they knew by then what the stakes were. 20/20 hindsight is meaningless.
