  • This is probably the worst thing that I've seen so far about this conference. These parrents will leave beliving that their child will turn straight, and when it doesn't they will belive that God is punishing them, they they didn't prey hard enough, or that their faith wasn't strong enough... sad.

  • Being gay is not wrong. Why can't people just be more accepting and less ignorant and judgemental?

  • @ChuckMeIntoHell definitely agree!! tis is bullshit! He is jus being stubborn n ignorant n wan to believe in the way he wanted to with 'his god plan'...==

  • @Judyp77 Youre assuming that your god is real

  • I have always, always, ALWAYS seen Anne Heche's sexuality labeled as "bisexual." She ended her relationship with Ellen Degeneres and got with a man--not because her mom prayed her straight, but because she is a human, and one relationship ended and another began. It was coincidence that each relationship was with a different sex.

  • Nancy Heche is on Exodus's website with "D. Min." after her name, so I assume some whacko institution gave her a "doctorate" in ministry (which, if folded, might make a nice coaster).

"Dr." Heche has been denounced by the daughter she claims to be saved, and since her "cure" has returned to the alley cat morals she displayed B.E. (before Ellen). She blew the only healthy relationship she ever had.

    Nice job, "Doc".

  • "If it was an acceptable life choice, they would be accepted by now. "

If that's what passes for logic in your world, that's sad.

There are now churches with gay ministers and bishops, so you no longer have the "oooh, it's a sin and against my faith" excuse. You're a prejudiced fool, plain and simple.

  • You are a sad deluded fool.

  • frballz....no, they love their child so much that they would risk loosing their relationship with that child to bring them to Jesus. Christians know that their child's lifestyle is an abomination to the Lord and they want them saved from their firey destiny. And btw, in this time in our world, hardly anything ruins anyones' reputation! LOL

  • Richard....spoken like a person who hasn't practiced it often enough. :) That's very sad. And you do have to believe in God and accept Jesus as yourr Savior for God to hear you. The first prayer God acknowledges is the one of repentance and accepting His Son. I hope that for you soon. No, I PRAY that for you! :)

  • Homosexuality is an abomination to GOD! So, it is wrong. If it was an acceptable life choice, they would be accepted by now. Homosexuality is the reason Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by God, as well as the Roman Empire. It's not ignorant or judgmental to believe God's Word.
