@ifrickinrulerome I disagree. 2001 Miami would beat this team by 20 if both teams played their best, that's saying alot because the 03 Sooners were good as hell but 01 Miami, 95 Nebraska, and 04 USC could all beat this team any day of the week. Their run was the product of a good Sooner team playing in a very weak Big 12. K-State proved that by beating them by 28 and then losing to Ohio St, LSU proved it by beating them by 7 and making it LOOK like 28. USC and LSU were both better in 03... sorry

this ain't the best team ever. they got whipped 35-7 in the conference championship and lost to LSU in the championship

i heartily agree. actually if this team plays AT ITS BEST, then i think it is the best team in history. by far.

My cousin Renaldo "Buster" Works #47 was an intricate part of OU's run in 2003 and I just remember how I knew he was going there to play rb and it was the first time I watched a full season of SOONER MAGIC! Great memories Renaldo!

I cant believe we lost to lsu and k-state, I mean honestly. This was probly the greatest team ou has ever had.

Man, this brings back so many great memories from my first semester at OU. We were SO good that year! It's so sad that it ended the way it did.

Three losses in two seasons.
One in the Big 12 Championship game, the other two in the BCS National Championship game.
Very bitter losses.
