Tractor Sazi e Azerbaijan - The world's most popular spectator football team (Soccer)

Today was a great day for Azerbaijani football fans that have made a record in history of football in Iran. According to INSANHAQLARI, more than 120000 people had gathered in Sahand (Yadegare Imam) stadium of Tabriz to give support to Tiraxtur (Tractorsazi) team playing against Pirouzi (Perspolis).

Pirouzi has the title of having most fans in Iran; however, today stadium was dominated by Tiraxtur fans. 10% of the stadium was given to guests fans whom there was not any, so the place was offered to outnumbered Tiraxtur fans. The game ended 1-1.

Also today was a great day for Azerbaijani football lover girls who officially are banned to watch the game live. According to INSANHAQLARI, the call from Tiraxtur fans to Azerbaijani girls was answered clearly by families who have gathered on hills near the stadium. According to shariat low of Iran, girls are banned from watching live players, it was also put forward to ban the games from being broadcasted by TV but later was refused in its early stages of becoming state law!!

Tractor Football Club (Tractor FC) matches have become a forum for Azerbaijanis to demand linguistic and ethnic rights in Iran. Security forces, however, actively prevent people from expressing their demands during and after football matches.
