  • Cool playing Dennis!

What is that pedal on the top of your amp?

  • @papnevelde - A digital delay/reverb. Sometimes it's on, sometimes off. Thanks!

  • Great stuff! By the way, what would you call this groove? Is it a 2-beat, mojo-type rhythm?

  • @jodanchudan - Thanks, and that's a good question, because it's weird groove to describe. I usually just play it for drummers and I have heard each drummer I use say something different. It's not a 2-beat, and many players wouldn't associate this with Mojo (or may not know the early Muddy version that sounds kinda like this).

  • NIce job, good strong playing. Rock on! That is an absolutely great rhythm, I always think of it as the "Mellow Down Easy" rhythm (I've heard it described as a sorta "rumba shuffle" but who knows, eh?)

  • muy bueno!!
