@SethHesio A bullet doesn't have the kinetic energy to knock someone off their feet. Tests with hard plate body armor and live ammunition proved that years before Mythbusters. However, the body will often twitch violently in response to the trauma being shot giving the appearance of being knocked off the feet. Working graveyard in a convenience store my friend Phil was shot by a robber while wearing a Kevlar vest, and the pain caused him to jerk back suddenly and fall behind the counter.

This video cheapens a very very good film. Also, ever since I watched Mythbusters... every time I see a gunshot victim in a film I think "yeah, that wouldn't happen, a bullet doesn't make you fly back like that". Damn you Jamie and Adam and your correct use of physics!
