  • is he grabbing the bar sideways? and if so is that better than grabbing it the chin up way? i mean better in terms of for arm wrestling

  • @mhong123123 He is grabbing the bar the same way you would grab if you were doing a hammer curl. It is a similar hand position to an arm wrestling match & that is why he does chin-ups with that grip.

  • If only he didn't stand on the ground after every rep then it would have counted.

  • @Splagl He doesn't need the reps to "count" he only need to get stronger by going heavy like he does..

  • @vancouverarm Well it's just that it was claimed to be 10 reps. I counted 10 sets of 1 rep. No doubt that this will make him stronger, it's just that the title was misleading.

  • @Splagl ok no problem but we're not too concerned with the title of the video.. Thanks

  • Wicked set. Anthony you are scary.

  • @RedWildz No doubt that it is harder to start from a stationary position. However as I said in previous comments the title claimed that it was 10 reps when in fact him returning to the stationary position ends the set. So when you "count" reps you cannot return to the starting position. Because I said counted you assume I am in middle school? How else do you say count things? I recorded 10 reps? Come on.And also if your muscles are constantly in a flexed state it makes a workout harder as well.

  • Dude is bad, he is doing chin ups with 125lb weights attached to his balls

  • @Splagl

It's actually more difficult to start each chin up with your feet flat on the ground. You drop all momentum and get zero stretch reflex from your muscles. "Counted"? It sounds like you're in middle school, pal.

  • @vancouverarm ohh that makes sense..thanks!

  • Real nice sir. I dunno how you could hold back from doing 3 nice big juicy plates(3x20kg) only 3kg more than u did. You're defo strong enough. What's your 1RM max you think? My PR 1RM is bw+60kg, one day though i'll catch u up :) gl
