I think you are talking about the Esky Lama V4. This is not an Esky heli but a Colco brand.
I'm not sure about the Esky V4 as I've never flown it. The Esky Lama V3 (one version earlier) is the most popular though, and has lots of spares and upgrades.
I have 1 of these except it has the wrong gyro in it so its constantly twitching lol but its great fun. much faster than any other contra rotating helis i have flown before although if you stop too fast it likes to fall out of the sky lol :P
how did you put lights on the front?

I used a drinking straw on the skids. The diameter of the straw fit the bulb holder perfectly.

don't give up just keep at it. Crashes are common. RC helis are the hardest to learn compared to other RCs. :)
