David Attenborough's Planet Earth series on BBC was good. The last episode on climate change was interesting but what was more interesting was that the whole series was on American tv except for the last episode "climate change" which they refused to air in America.

Much of the human race is. Otherwise they'd stop breeding like rabbits. The shit is going to hit the fan soon - population explosion, resource wars, accidental and malicious use of nanotechnology, climate change... a perfect storm is brewing.

We're not asleep. Most of us know what's going on but our own ignorance, combined with near-nearsightedness, lack of direction and not to mention the fact that irrational people rule the world, make it highly improbable that we will get anything done. Hopefully the internet will give us this direction by combining our ideas on time to stop this decay before it's too late.
