Why can't her sons help her with the laundry and help bake the cake? It's not a woman's job to be the homemaker any more, though she can certainly do so if she wants to. But, give your sons the same opportunities as their sisters.

Smart concept...2011 everyone is looking for a guru, mommy substitute, expert advice, so Ree et al capatilize on the non-self-reliance of the new American.
Look, Ree is sharp, but don't tell me what motherhood is...I can figure that out for myself as I go along. I have my own thoughts, opinions, conclusions. I have children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and Ree is only beginning her "motherhood" gig. Think for yourselves ladies, you don't need a

If you don't like her recipes, or Ree in general just move along and find other content that is more appropriate for you. You can see you have issues with her, 'lest her lilttle ole feelings might be hurt" . Why the bashing? Why not try live and let live? Some of us enjoy the recipes, does this make us a "mindless following"? The negativity spewed sure seems like jealousy. If she just annoyed you, wouldn't you just ignore and choose something else to spend your time on? Just sayin...
