  • Loving all these HSV7 snippets you're posting up. Very rare pieces of Australian TV history. Although my earliest memories of Seven National News was the opening title which showed a transmission tower which the picture then shrunk to reveal the list of regional stations that relayed the bulletin. And also Ilona presenting the weather from in front of a large-scale chromakey satellite photo and would slide out the state weather map as if from nowhere!

  • Actually, there's a "chriatmas tape" blooper featuring that news opening - must see if I can find it...

  • Great Post.. Thanks.. can't believe the Studio Crew would have allowed that "brown" microphone cable to be strewn over and around the Desk like that even in 1975.

    It kinda looks tucked away but really it isn't !!
