I think tho official name on this kind of zoom is zool.
Because to get this effect in real life the camera must rool and zoom at the same time.

Good tutorial. I did the same effect in Blender some months ago but couldn't be bothered by manually matching the zoom to the camera movement, so I wrote a python script for it.
You can find it on BlenderArtists by doing a search for "dolly zoom", the thread is called "How to acheive a dolly zoom effect". (sorry, can't directly link to it)

That shot can also be called a Zolly shot (zoom/dolly)

I remember it in vertigo....they actually used an horizontal maquette for all those shots that look like vertical arbogast shots
