  • No, no, no, the idea is to be independent of their system, not to stay plugged into the grid in the hopes of making money from them, if that is what you are after then you should stick to windmills and solar panels

  • I can see a future where we have an electric grid that runs similar to internet. We all sell our spare to anyone in the world that is connected to some sort of electric input. Either your standard power grid or a community grid or a cable from your neighbours. We can either store it with a company in the way of credits or storage. compressed air or stored hydro and so forth. Or just sell it out right and buy in any when and if needed. No dout there will be service charges as in any network.

  • @TheHolySpirit Totally agree with you. If enough people have this and the electric company's have to buy it from us which they are mandated to do buy law. It will get to a point that so many people are selling there electric and not enough people buying it that the big corporation will go bust. But you will always need electric companies to fulfil the needs of business and public usage. Street lighting, large cities, large factories and so on.

  • I find all these devices to be fascinating and have followed the development of several for years now. This one looks like a well made piece of kit.

For me, the final proof that one is working 100% will be when somebody successfully hooks their system back up to the grid and gets paid from the Feed-In Tariffs scheme (FITs) more than they are billed by the electricity company, in the same way that solar PV or wind generation is currently utilised. Please crack it soon!! :)
