-The Best Rasengan Effect Ever -

This is my second attempt in the past 2 days to construct a rasengan-ish energy ball with After Effects CS3. I'm taking Digital Video at my college and have been watching some tutorials online, so I decided to create my own.

If I reach a certain number of views, I will create a high-def Step-by-step tutorial on how to create this exact effect w/ voice overlay and recording my screen.

It takes about 10-15 minutes to make, and requires some tweaking.

I do understand that it's a bit small, however that's not hard to scale when finished.

For the full effect, I suggest watching the HD quality video if possible, as the original footage is in 1280x720HD and loses quite a bit to youtube.

Also would like to note that this was created completely in After Effects CS3, with no external software of any kind.

It's pretty terrible from today's standards, and I can do far better.. this was more of a testament to the fact that 3/4 years ago; EVERYTHING sucked on YT far worse than this with CS4 being out and all. I spent... maybe an hour making it; and to be fair, YT compresses the hell out of it so a lot of the little things I did don't even show up. I posted a Vid response of a slightly more recent one ages ago lol.
