This is a Aquastabil 75 liter aquarium i got from a friend, with 4 Siamese Algae Eaters (Crossocheilus siamensis). Very cool fish, but they did'nt eat algea anymore, so i got a red eyed Albino Bristle-nose Catfish (Ancistrus Cirrhosus) and a Honey Gourami (Colisa sota) pair from a nearby store. But then i saw some African Spiny Eel(Mastacembelus vanderwaali), very cheap, i just had to buy. So this is it ... for now... 4 adult Siamese Algae Eaters is too big for this tank, so i'm giving them too a friend with a 250 liter tank. HERE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yrXJA3AwcEE

  • What kind of eel is that?

  • @Pop12646Okami It is an African Spiny Eel. :)

  • Nice fish

  • @CrazyMuny630 Thanks :) Nice Oscars you have, too bad i can't say the same about your camera (phone). LOL Have a nice day.

  • will an african ocellated eel (6 inches) do well in a 20 gallon tank? i understand that most people suggest 35 gallons, however i have gallon restrictions. I really care about these eels and their survival, so i'd like to know specifically.

  • @XamphetimineticXsinX I'm not a expert, but mine was about 7 cm when i got him and grew to about 20cm. Mine was under the gravel most of the time, except for his head sticking up looking for food. but when he was swimming it was'nt much room. hope it helps. It was my favorite fish together with the Macropodus Concolor.

  • Dude i love that eel.

  • thanks! i am DYING trying to find one to buy

  • @NidarosEnDeLiG Ah, very nice! :) Also, I saw that you have Siamese algae eaters. I'd be careful with those, though. I've heard, and sadly experienced, that when they run out of food, they start to feed on the fish. It's really good to see that yours are fine and healthy, though! :D

  • @anyywhore It comes in one bag and It's called Akvastabil Mars and made in Denmark.

  • Hey what kind of rocks are thoes did they come in one bag?

  • @XamphetimineticXsinX yeah one would but on a light feed, meaning NO MICE, LIZARDS, GOLDFISH. basicly no really big feed. two would work with a 25 gallon but the filter would have to be a good one. and you have to be wary of movement like if one doesn't move alot try giving it a companion or toy. :) K?

  • Liter or gallon

  • @377Joker

It is called a African Spiny Eel. :)

  • @myangel833

    Thank you! :)

  • is dat a snake ??

  • Your tank looks really good! Great job

I like the dark mixed rock with the live plants. Goes really well with the fish.

  • @kofi53 Red eyed Albino Bristle-nose Catfish. you also get it in a black eyed version Latin name i think is for both, but i'm not sure (Ancistrus Cirrhosus)

  • what is the cool yellow algea eater called?

  • That's only 40 Liters, Nidaros..

  • I am sure, dude. I measured it just for you. :D

Filming was made with macro on my cam , maybe that's why it looks bigger than it is.

  • @NidarosEnDeLiG Seriously dude that tank looks way much bigger than that are you sure???

  • Tank : Aquastabil

    Outside measures:

    Length : 55 cm

    Height : 30 cm

    Width : 25 cm

    Have a nice day! :)
