clearly oneness pentecostals are both heretics and dishonest. the very passage this man argues against is classic trinitarian teaching.

@kevykev38 fossils are real. i do not believe the Earth is 6000 years old. The world is obviously millions of years old. As far as many meanings, well, the main message of the bible is the simple gospel .

@musicmusing And why would God have people write a book basically in code that no one really understands fully . Writing a book that one sentence "could" have several meanings. Which had to be figured out by many, and well... no one agrees on one meaning. And we have fossils to prove the bible is wrong. I have read the Bible many times and even went to Catholic school and learned that questioning anything about the Bible means "God will punish you".

@kevykev38 I guess for me,I look at trees, birds, lakes , all that and see a creator. while you see chemical soup. But thats ok. I guess I just love the idea of God and purpose, even grace and faith. that doesn 't make me a simpleton.

@musicmusing If there is a God maybe God gave me a mind to question religious views on faith? To question the bible? To wonder why so many people may be misled or may be not? See the fact is I really don't know and you really don't know. Faith in something we can't see? There is something about paying for something i can't see that bothers me. To me dropping everything (mindlessly) and paying with faith for a "Promise"?

@kevykev38 Faith is what it is, beyond 'proof'. As Christians we delight in faith. If the existence of God was 'proven' it would no longer be faith. Faith is the subtance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. ( an actual scripture says this word for word) So for me it is not about proof but faith. (We are saved by grace thru faith). It would be harder for me to believe this is all just random and meaningless, not to mention the wonder behind creation itself (life).

Walter Martin made the comment that the "Eternal Son" teaching came from the heretical Origen. By stating this comment, he is destroying his own belief in the Trinity. If there was no Eternal Son in the beginning, then there was no coeternal, coequal persons. The Catholic creeds place the Son as being in the beginning with the Father.
