A severe thunderstorm that was the cause of all the tornado warnings out in Ohio approaches at night time. This is some clips of the lightning that I caught on my camera. While we didn't get any tornadoes, we had wind gusts up to about 45 mph.
@460fordtruckman I noticed a weird temperature change. At first it was cold around 58 degrees, I ran out just as the storm started rolling in and the temperature was closer to 68 degrees and then as soon as I started filming the winds came and it went down to like 55 degrees or lower. Crazy stuff, but I love it lol.
@460fordtruckman I've always been tempted to learn more about meteorology. They do offer a major at Penn State in it but it's down at University Park and weather is more of a hobby thing for me. I learned most of what I know about fronts and how the air moves and all that stuff along with how to identify certain clouds and what they mean from a weather book that I got a while back lol.
@460fordtruckman I've never seen or been in a tornado. It would be cool to see a waterspout on the lake but I'm always in the wrong place at the wrong time when it comes to those. The closest I got to a tornado was when one landed in the county next to us back when I lived in central PA.
that was heat lightning but its good i loved it
