Thank you for your info but I am still having problems transferring my itunes to my Seagate Free Agent. I have a mac and want to be able to use the hard drive on both mac and windows pc.

I'm not sure if this worked in Lion. It was a little different so I just clicked under preferences, and changed it. It shows the right path there. But when I click on "Show In Finder" it shows me the wrong copy, so I'm reluctent to delete
