warning, if u get this tablet,. change the brush tip, the tip thats in the pen when it comes out of the box is very sharp, and scratched my tablet, now i use another soft tip and its fine, but still my surface is scratched, sucks

@b1gbudda Is the PTK-640 (6"x8" or 9"?) the tablet with the 'revised' overlay.

IDK they said they sold it with the i4 in october 2010.

Also, will the overlay smooth out after a lot of use? I'm new to tablets & drawing in general TBH. Are you a hobbyist or a Pro b1gbudda?

@b1gbudda Have they fixed the whole soft mat thing? I'm probably going to get one for xmas. I just don't want the first thing I do is to scratch this beast. I know they naturally get warn, but is it only a problem for the people with guerilla hands?

@Laneismynickname no it comes with everything you need :) and you wont regret buying this one, its the best tablet ive ever had, the pressure sensitivity is amazing, the pen feels good and i always use the buttons and touch wheel, i got the medium size wich is perfect for illustrations, photo editing and stuff, i dont know why people want it any bigger

@GnatBox It honestly just depends, some people just pick it up and have no problem some have the problem of having to watch their hand. It takes some getting used to but with a bunch of practice really you get used to just watching the screen and not your hand.

I started out with a graphire wireless tablet at my school and just picked it up and was fine, then moved on to an intuos 3 than 4 so I admit I'm not too much help, sorry about that.
