@gathimest Also, the idea that something is bad because 4chan likes it is like saying breathing is bad because Hitler did it.

Also, I don't remember the part of him going insane because of the experiment very well, and I don't think it really defined his character. Giving a villain an easily explained psychological problem can work, or just make him boring.

I'm not really explaining myself too clearly, but I just can't fathom not liking Kefka. I can't really put it into words.

@gathimest Did you hate The Dark Knight? I can understand if you did, but did you specifically hate Heath Ledger's Joker? I know very few people who disliked Heath Ledger's Joker, and if you did, then okay.

However, I loved Heath Ledger's Joker. He was psychotic, beautifully so, and acted seemingly without reason. Chaos, anarchy. I loved it. Not having a backstory made him that much more unsettling, as with him being a clown. Just like Kefka.

@gathimest Most of all, if he weren't a stupid fucking clown that would also be a huge relief, clown in the military is a really stupid idea, clowns are really stupid and to make them intimidating villains just takes the cake in stupidity, Kefka sucks...he did one thing to make him stand out because it's how the game was written but as a character he fails and as a villain he's really just stock.

@gathimest your opinion is some kind of fact, another thing to note is that typical 4chan goers seem to love Kefka so that's another blow against the fanbase of FF6 and this absolutely terrible villain. When you weigh the negatives against the positive that he actually did destroy the world or whatever, the negatives still make that feat quite unimpressive. Maybe if he had more depth and wasn't just crazy because the game was lacking ideas for an actual villain things would be better.

@CronoManiac42 Here we go, time to spell it out for you and any other kefka fanboy...Kefka is a very bland and uninspired villain with one of the most cliche backstories, he has no depth to his character and is actually pretty annoying, FF6 would have been just as good without him. LOL IM INSANE CUZ AN EXPERIMENT WENT WRONG, he doesn't even have a direct reason for his actions, hence...no depth. You can worship shitty cliche characters all you want, more power to you but don't speak as though.

Oh yeah. Albedo beats Kefka any day of the week. Also, The Day After Tomorrow is better than Citizen Kane, Saw is better than Psycho, and Jason Voorhees is a better villain than Darth Vader.
