Navaratri or Nine Nights of Goddess:

The Nine Nights of the Goddess has a great significance, both from a spiritual and material angle to all of us! It is time to rejuvenate yourself, both physically and mentally, and to be in tune with the creative energies that come to the fore during these nine nights. Traditionally in India, this festival is also referred to as 'Navaratri' and is celebrated with great devotion and happiness! It represents a ray of hope for humanity to realize happiness, be it money, relationship or even discovering your inner self depending on your needs.

The nine nights of the goddesses begin on 18th September in the U.S., and on the 19th, September in India.

This time of the goddess is very important, and occurs cyclically during September and October, following the new moon. On September 18th is the new waxing moon. This particular waxing moon during September/October is going to influence our psychology, our biology, the environment as well as the divine astral realms. The vision of the sages is that this is the most important time to deal with negativity and it affects bod mind spirit as well as the environment and finances. These 9 nights are divided between 3 goddesses, Durga, Lakshmi, and Saraswati: all of them are fighters. They fight different demons, Mahisha, fought by these goddesses. The 'demons' are not only mythological characters; they are also psychological characters. They are our ego, our maya and our karma.
