I love the fact that even on my own i would never be able to accomplish the amazing race. Both you and your son are amazing hero's. As a disabled veteran, i try to get us together to make sure that we live long and proud after our service. Much of which is emotional support as well as getting everyone into physical shape to live long and happy lives. I have to say that i absolutely am grateful to the Hoyt family for providing inspiration to our soldiers both past and present.

I like the part where Rick said "Dad when I am running I feel like my disability disappears." When I see you guys running, I feel like my disability disappears...the disability of judging people on appearance rather than within. You guys are more than an inspiration, you help people see a new perspective on things that they can use for the rest of their lives.
