Here's a rundown of what's on my demo reel. I've outlined my role in each portion so you can get an idea of my shooting, editing, and lighting skills. I also didn't want to take credit for others' work so I'll tell you what I did and didn't do for each part.

COMMERCIALS

"Drake Homes"

I did the principle videography and lighting for this commercial spot. I used a small (6') jib-arm for the camera moves and subtle lighting in the kitchen area to kind of add some depth to the shots. I did no editing or graphical elements for the spot.

"Carters Furniture"

Again, I did just the videography and lighting. This was a tough shoot because of the mixture of outside light and inside light so I really had to watch my monitor to make sure color temperature was even throughout. It was also tough negotiating around this store with the jib-arm, but I managed.

"Carpet Weavers"

More shooting and lighting. This time around I set up a key wall for various interview shots in the commercial. I shot everything except the flooring sample shots (carpet, wood, etc.)

"Wright's Furniture"

Principle videography and lighting.

"Ohana Pools"

I did the shooting and lighting for this spot. A fairly straight forward edit but I included it on the reel because I liked the outdoor shots.

"Mahomet Landscapes"

I shot the establishing shot at the beginning but everything else was shot by my counterpart at WCIA. I included this because I did all the editing and created the letterbox in Photoshop.

"Kirchners"

I did the shooting and lighting here. I'll admit the lighting is a little flat but I felt my movements were smooth with the jib-arm and I accomplished the objective of the commercial with quality videography rather than relying on a lot of flashy graphics and transitions.

"Bill Abbott"

'Just the videography.

"Welcome to Savoy"

We've been shooting a lot of these little coop spots for towns in our area...I shot and lit all the video except the Buffalo Wild Wings shots.
