A quick video showing the image quality the EasyCap DC60 can capture.
If you want to capture gameplay from the PS3 or Xbox 360 but don't want to spend $500 on something like the Hauppauge HD PVR, AND you can tolerate SD playback, a McGuyver looking setup, and are not fussed about analog or the 720x405 resolution, then perhaps the EasyCap DC60 could be a cheap consideration for you!
The capture hardware, extra cables and extra couplings all came to around $50 in the end.
As you can see, text rendering is dismal at best - menu items are difficult to make out. On the other hand, the cinematic captures don't look bad at all and most gameplay graphics turned out pretty good too - as long as there is movement.
One thing of note is that there is a Mac issue with sound, though it was easy enough to get around.
Overall, the EasyCap DC60 is about affordability - not quality. Hope you found this demo helpful :)
