p.s. By the way i am not a wahabbi, i do not subscribe to Wahabism. Never have.
I find the 'wahabi' label is usually thrown by people from the Brelvi sect to disrespect other muslims that do not agree to what they say. I would think people would hesitate to use the term because of it resemblance with the name of Allah, Al Wahab, which is one of Allah's 99 beautiful names.

Prophets can make mistakes unintentionally, they are human. It is only Allah, our Lord who NEVER errs NOR forgets (see 20:52)
In ch18,23-24, God delayed revelation because the prophet FORGOT to say "Inshallah" when the non-believers came to ask certain questions given by the Jews.
Bukhari V4,B55,N654:
Narrated 'Umar:
I heard the Prophet saying,
"Do not exaggerate in praising me as the Christians praised the son of Mary, for I am only a Slave. So, call me the Slave of Allah and His Apostle."

Speaking in phrases is not a slip of the tongue... But I do hope that he regrets what he had said, and did not make the same mistake again!
What I know is that he said something very wrong! And as Muslims, we should be very careful when talking about the Prophet Muhammad PBUH!
Also I did not call him a kaffir. I called his action Kufr. There is a difference!

Its a slip of a tongue man, give it a break ppl rnt perfect and for some1 like Ahmed Deedat it is obvious that it is just that a slip of a tongue. What u did is wrong too, call some1 a kafir and doubt his faith is none of our business its between him and God. Give it a break and lets stop fighting amount ourselves its not like we need more problems.

He (PBUH) is the GREATEST of all creation!
What Mr. Deedat said was a HUGE sin!

Take it easy man he doesnt mean to degrade the prophet Muhammad (PBUH), he is human and prone to do mistakes its probably just a slip of a tongue.

I am a Muslim frm Indonesia, and i'm very proud to have a courage n knowledgeble person like Ahmed Deedat.I hope there are another Imam or Muslim Scolars to be brave like him to do syiar Islam around the world. Amin!
