@himelitb No simply. The long way is that I believe that there is no proof for god thusly he does not exist. As that is the basis behind my thinking ( and all the atheist I know, wich is a lot) If there was proof of a god wich I doubt then I would accept that there was a god. I do not fully dismiss the probability ( though i am extremely skeptical) as a proper scientist must consider all theories ( even the great Albert Einstein fell to this falt).
You see, the problem is that (maybe it's just me being biased) small minded people who want a theocarcy, a fusion of religion and state, use the argument that it is more moral, or something along those lines. I see anybody whose only reason for being moral, doing what is right, is that they think a deity is going to punish them for not doing so is just stupid. Being truly good means doing ood whether anyone will ever know about it or not.
the punishment system is how God set life, it is what we had in the beginig, what we have now, and what we will have in the end.
The ugly thing is that atheist =anarchist they do not want punishment and in this they resemble a lot the basic savages before Laws were made to bring human beings one step closer towards God, God is teaching the importance of law Vs Chaos, Atheism proved many times against law, authority, hence, like savageness and satanism
DEutronomy - is a nice verse that describes, the distinction of people of Israel amoung other nations during that time.
it is very beautiful text in the way it describes the elite people and the sohesticated moses who brought civilized habits and the necissity of keeping these people pure and distict.
I do not see anything wrong in it.
Moses set Laws where obviously many people did not have that passion for law
and Israel proved themselves thru centuries to be special
@balamanti2 It's clearly written, and there for all to see, except those who would prefer not to, which includes many like you, so don't feel like you're singled out. I was educated by Nuns and Christian brothers, never attended a secular school until University. We did cover quite a bit of the bible as it happened. Your replies have become pathetic. You know you have ignored the inconvenient facts, but are too brainwashed or proud to admit it. That's no problem, internet stranger. Bye.
@balamanti2 You are a bigoted ignoramus arguing. I've read the bible. I've read Leviticus, Deuteronomy and the rest where we are commanded to kill, to hate, to stone to death an unruly child. You pick and choose what part of the Bible you like to quote or live by. So do I, but I don't deny it.

@balamanti2 God does not exist.
I'm sorry but I can't even respect such an unscientific basis for faith.
