Demolition Derby Lake County Fair Indiana Saturday 8/14/2010 - Finals

After a restart due to a possible fire risk, this is the conclusion of the final round. The 'stick' by the driver window has 2 purposes that I know of. Breaking your own 'stick' is like giving up, but it's a respectable way to bow out of a match you know you will lose, useful in situations where your car is disabled but movable and you're no longer able to make aggressive moves effectively. An official can also break your stick for various rule violations etc, such as intentional strikes against a drivers door, which are not allowed for safety reasons.

@Mike89x I was the actual cameraman as well as uploader - the camera is a Sony HDR-SR12 and was running on HD-FH mode (16 Mbps @ 1920x1080) on default settings auto focus etc, with steadyshot enabled. In this mode you get about 900 minutes of 1080p capacity on the internal drive, and you can put memory sticks in for more space or somewhere to put pictures as it will also snap 10.2 megapixel stills either while recording or in camera mode. It's also got night vision built in :)
