yes... UVa was better than VT at one time. From ''87-'94 UVa was 6-2 vs VT. VT didnt begin dominating the series until '99.

seems like uva, even then, was playing catch up to the hokies. were they ever really a better program? i look at the programs today and they cant be compared.
