I took shuai jiao for a few months at my martial arts school and seeing these guys do it makes me feel stupid. They did all those throws so thoroughly and easily. Shuai jiao is really difficult to get the hang of. Thinks for putting this video up. Sometimes it helps to watch an action being done. To be honest I didn't expect to find videos of shuai jiao.

@87lutteur yes i dont want india and westerner to take ccredit for martial arts..but that was never my intention im just a guy who correct facts where it needs to be..im not "claiming" anything everything i do is purely research and if someone out prove me theni would do more research to see who right and if myopponent is right i would gladly accept his infomation....but it needs proof and facts not opnion and definitely not bulshit

@87lutteur i didnt say judo, jujuitsu, kali only i said etc..as inmore such as muay thai wingchun, escrema etc.... you obviosuly have trouble uinderstanding the word"like" and "etc" when use as an example in a sentence..and you think all asian martialarts off of only point? lol now that is funny while some are especially tma pratice are base off point(with the execption of some out of the box thinkin'school)most of our is also originated for combat, like jujuitsu, muay boron, shuai jiao..

@87lutteur (off topic) The quote was used by mc arthur not invented and when you say asia back in the medivial ages or before they never got to the far east india is the fartest east back in the medivial or before that western ever went to war with, during the near modern era with the brits industrializing the attack china but they didnt take all and china was weak at the time divided by rebellion and fighting mutli-faction and their pride led to believe they dont need to improve

@87lutteur second you failed..again..to stated these "form"that are supposively older then shuai jiao does it not have a name for the only one recorded as the oldest form of martial arts was shuai jiao dating back to 2698 b.c one of the only of it kind that wasnt destroyed..if you truly did research you woudlnt have deny it and if there was one that older there would have been a citation, dated, link, and name for it...

@87lutteur you are delusional i merely ask what does vehicle have to do with hand 2 hand combat because you stated that martial arts is useless in the world where only tank and vehicle are used..and you manage to change the word around by saying the obvious....everyone know h2h is use in modern combat like during the korean war when thousands of chinese charge at the american..you simply use my logic..to fix your own error

Lotta, Lutte, Gouren, Fencing, Pale, Baton, Jogo do Pau, Systema, etc. are still used and all were designed for actual combat not scoring points and theatrical production like many asian arts. However Jiu Jitsu, Judo, Kali, etc. are effective arts however they're not the only ones used like you claim Asian MA is the modern world base. We also aim to take down/cripple opponents as quick as possible. Not score points with strikes or lock an arm or leg to force a tapout.

WW1 is an example of what you call "tank and hand to hand combat". When one side got impatient or low on ammo they would charge each others trenches or collide in the middle of the battlefield with bayonet charges where H2H combat couldn't be more brutal as many times weapons were dropped or broken so you're the delusional one.
@lagook All Chinese martial arts never came from India. Period.

Thanks for the post!
It is always nice to see things of cultural/ combat/ conditioning.
I never get into what is best.
It is like saying, music X or music Y is the best.
I like MMA,however,Some people say MMA is tops, nothing competes.
Well, one nice shin kick followed by a finger jab to the eye and the MMA dude is going to be looking for his eyeball rolling round on the ground from which he can't stand. Kind of like the paper, scissors, stone exercise.
Surprise and Speed Kills Competition
