E: [sat up and looked at nick] you really want to hear what im feeling?
N: [nods]
E: [sigh] okay..

[kevin&sam]
[Kevin told everyone what nick said]
K: im such an idiot
S: Kevin, its not your fault
K: she told me what was going on and I didn't say anything
S: she told me too. neither of us knew the whole of it. We cant change it now. She wouldn't want you to think it was your fault.
K: I guess your right. You wanna get off the boat? We're about to dock
S: alright. Sure. Come on

[joe & cressa]
J: should we go in there? [pacing back and forth]
C: joe, just let them talk alright
J: okay [sigh]
C: you wanna go play DDR in the game room to get your mind off it?
J: [smiles] okay
C: I thought you might like that
J: [kisses her] come on

[nick&emma]
E: okay...but just let me finish then talk, okay?
N: okay
E: I do feel like I can talk to you I just..didnt know if you'd understand how much it affected me. I had nightmares everynight. Throughout the day it would replay through my head. Everything, from the first night in the alley to the day with the..the gun. I haven't had flashbacks for a while but then last night...
N: I made it come back didn't I, I went to far?
E: [put her finger to his mouth] no. you didn't. nick, it wasn't your fault. I've been blocking those thoughts but I can only do that for so long I guess. Sooner or later this was gonna happen. I cant just make it go away. trust me, ive tried. Sometimes, I think I see them and it scares me nick. And when I said im not the same girl I was a few months ago...I mean that they changed me. im not as care free. Im always cautious about who im around and I wont let haley go anywhere by herself. Im not sure why I worry extra about her, but just in case, I do. I worry about you.
I worry that something will happen. I know they are in jail but that doesn't seem to change anything. Im not myself anymore, and I hate it because I cant change that. I don't know who I am anymore. Is that what you wanted to hear?

N: I know who you are [takes her hands in his] your emma. You've been my neighbor and best friend forever. You're the most beautiful, caring person ive ever met. Your sarcastic [smiles], and fun and I love you more than anything. I just wanted to know that you know you can tell me anything.
E: I know I can [hugs him]
