Etymotic Research now provides a service where you can have CUSTOM-FIT ear molds made for your Etymotic earphone and headset products. This video takes you through the CUSTOM FIT process.
@borismontoya136 your comment is based on a 'friend' who has them for six years? really? why don't you go into politics, boris, you seem to keep it real. The bass is weak as well, without a good seal there is NO bass.....wasting time again.....
@studionyc You barely have to replace the filters (Some poeple never ever changed it and they have it for a couple of years) They do have bass, you just need to find a good fit. The wiring on etymotic products is alright. Take care of your earphones and I'm sure nothing bad would happen to them... A friend of mine has hes etymotics for around 6 years and they're still doing fine.
Do not buy ER products. I had three pairs (ER6i and ER4s), the wiring is poor, all break around the 'y' so that one channel cuts out, very annoying. I waited to long and now they want to charge me $130 per pair for repairs. Never again! Way overpriced and won't last, also no bass reproduction and expensive filter replacement. A perfect ripp-off.
Is it free or what? I can't seem to find a price tag on the website. Do I need invoice doing so? because I have had my ER4 for years and the invoice is nowhere to be found.
I put this on my Christmas list so I am really hoping I can get them for my ER6...
One question... Considering your different lines HF - ER etc... Can these CUSTOM-FIT ear molds be swapped from ER to HF say if I were to upgrade from ER6 etc?
So it's $100 on top of the price u already paid for the earphones. No thanks
