i presently have a gibson es 347 with humbuckers and think the collings i-35 is perfection. the intonation of the 347 is not perfect as you move on up the neck it goes out of tune . i have really thought hard about trading it in for an i-35 but the 347 has ebony fretboard and the neck is wider than the i-35. i think i could get use to the width but question the slickness of the i-35 for bending and vibrato. what do you think?
sounds like you have a great guitar that you might miss if you let it go - but I agree the I-35 is something very special and it might erase a lot of pain. I LOVE the guitar - love to hear if you make any changes,
That was a good lesson. It helped me a fair bit. Ta. The problem is, I'm a tad forgetful, and I'll probably forget all the fretboard positions you use. I have a tab, but it's all in different positions, and your version is quite a bit easier than mine. Do you have the tabs for your video? If so, that would be a major help.
That's alright. I'll just adjust my tab so it fits. Can you play the solo to Wishing Well? I've been trying to figure that one out for ages, but tabs for solos never make any sense to me.
